My name is Dr Natasha Mulvihill and I am a senior lecturer in Criminology and researcher at the Centre for Gender and Violence Research at the University of Bristol, in the UK.
This site evolves from a blog I started for my first-year undergraduate course, during the COVID-19 lockdown. It was enjoyable to write and I realised it was a good way to connect with students, particularly as online learning looks set to increase. So this site was launched in early May 2020, importing what I had written already, and adding new posts as and when.
The blogs are bite-sized and hopefully accessible reads for anyone interested in crime, harm and criminology.
Current categories include: COVID Criminology; Crime Issues and Theory; Crime Media Art and Representation; and Guest Blogs and Interviews. A full list of posts is at the bottom of every page.
Do Follow or subscribe via the Home Page to alert to new posts. If you would like to do a guest blog or have a question or suggestion, do get in touch via the Contact form.
Thanks for visiting.
